Bounce (Experiment) by Neil

A longer experiment with a bouncing ball, attempting to a certain degree to make it look realistic according to gravitational pulls and also a test on re-using (minimal) major shapes. Info: 2 drawings (done by finger in FlipBook) copied, rotated and arranged over 58 frames, running at 18 FPS. Once I felt pleased enough with the bounce animation, the shadow was drawn (hastily (read: extra badly)) to add a 'surface reference'. To finish it up, shading was applied to the ball surface. PS: Made in between commercial breaks, while watching Minority Report on TV.

I would have added a little squash at the last bounce too, but apart from it's very nice.

I plan on posting my newest and best stick figure flipbook soon. I've been spending the last few months mastering stick figure animations. I know stick figures are all too common now but I think mine stand out a bit. :p
