Rotation (Experiment) by Neil
A relatively quick experiment with an rotating cube animation (drawn (quickly (read: without attention to detail)) with a finger) using FlipBook. Also an attempt at a seamlessly looping animation using minimal frames, while maintaining a somewhat smooth spin. Info: 4 drawings with two being mirrored for a total of 6 frames to create one rotation, duplicated 4 times (to add color on the sides), minus one frame so that it is more seamless; 24 frames in total at 12 FPS. PS: I tried making it possible to create an optical illusion, if you in a sense focus on the center of the cube (it should look like a weird piston movement). Without coloring, 6 of the 24 frames would be needed to create a seemingly spinning cube. If you drag the playback slider back and forth, you can spin the cube as you wish for a "3D" effect.
